Under a stunning plan to revitalise Maryborough Central, property owners will spend $8 million on major refurbishment works planned during the next six months.

The stunning refurbishment is set to reinvigorate the more than 30 specialty retailers across a single level air-conditioned mall.

A new fast food precinct and the addition of a discount warehouse-style supermarket will provide unparalleled choice and price for Maryborough and the broader Fraser Coast community.

Im thrilled to be announcing this major investment in our well-loved centre, said Mr Richard Chen, Maryborough Central owner. Our customers will be overjoyed with the weekly savings Fresh & Save Food Warehouse will deliver for them, along with the high quality range of fresh food and grocery lines that will now be available within a m odern and family-friendly space.

The opening of the exciting new concept store Fresh & Save Food Warehouse is an Australian first. It is a family-owned business supported by decades of large-scale food retail experience in the supermarket sector.

As part of the multi-million dollar works at the site, the 4000 sq. metre supermarket will be constructed within the established Fraser Coast shopping centre to become Queenslands largest independent grocery store.

Opening our first store in the newly refurbished Maryborough Central is the perfect opportunity for us to introduce Australians to a new discount grocery shopping experience, said Grant Prince, Fresh & Save Food Warehouse owner.
